Red and Gold Marble

This was one of two boxes commissioned by a large family for their parents who were both turning 70 about the same time. The siblings each wrote personalized letters to their parents, and the boxes were to house all the letters to each parent. This box was for the family’s father, and was customized using his favorite colors.

Japanese Flower Cut

This box was customized for the client’s mother based on colors that she likes.  It is made with Japanese papers and book cloth and a hand-picked Japanese paper cut.

“Sweet Compulsions” Artists’ Book

This artists’ book is about the temptations and pitfalls of repeat behaviors in a string of relationships using the metaphor of a chocolate box. It is made from bookboard, momogami and stonehenge papers, inkjet printing and hot foil stamping.

“I Had Dreams” Letterpress Poster/Book

This is a letterpress poster that folds down into a book, and has text that reads in book format, and text that reads in poster format.  Poster format reads “Last night I had a long dream & you were the star”. Book format reads “Dreams can be hard to decipher”. A small edition of these is available, cut, or left uncut in poster format.  Contact me for more information.
