What Is Expression Engine?

Expression Engine is a leading edge, website content management system.  It is well named because like a car engine it is the driving force behind your website and it allows you to utilize the multiple forms of expression available to you through the internet. Expression Engine can be used to power features that are integral to today’s websites such as email opt-in lists, blogs, content management, forums, shopping carts and so much more. It allows for the simple management of any kind of website.  It is very flexible and can be sculpted to fit just about any need.

As a web developer and designer I use Expression Engine to create websites for my clients that utilize all the tools the internet has to offer.  Expression Engine allows me to customize my clients’ websites to meet their specific needs without having to compromise my design. Once I am finished with the design and development of a site many of my clients choose to use Expression Engine’s content management tools to make changes and updates themselves. This is just one of the many reasons I think Expression Engine is the best website tool available today.
